Sponsor one-pager

Everything a sponsor needs to decide whether to take a call, on one sheet. Print it, save it as a PDF, or forward this link.

The thesis, in three sentences

Employers report a shortage not of information but of judgment: people who can hold a question open, weigh evidence, and defend a position under challenge. Socratic Guides AI Academy is a small pilot in Franklin, Tennessee testing whether that capacity can be taught deliberately, from age ten, by pairing a trained human guide with an AI companion configured to withhold answers. The result — positive or negative — is published.

What a sponsor funds

Guide salaries

The largest line. Trained guides at a ratio small enough that every student is known by every adult.

Need-based seats

So that the filter on the cohort is curiosity, not household income.

Measurement

Independent scoring, matched comparison, and publication of results — including the ones that go against us.

Full line-item detail is on the pilot page; the $663k figure is the first-year pilot budget.

What a sponsor gets back

  • A written report at the end of each term: method, sample, results, failures, and budget actuals against plan.
  • Named acknowledgement, if wanted, and none if not.
  • Standing access to the raw argument — including the parts we are least sure of.
  • No claim made in your name that we cannot defend with a falsifier.
